Brian Self R.I.P. FUNERAL YET TO BE FIXED. SORRY

Page 12 of KibKom Times carries the news of the unexpected death of Brian Self yesterday. What was not included was details of the funeral.

There will be an opportunity to say 'Farewell to Brian at The international Cemetery, opposite the Pia Bella in Kyrenia soon.. A humanist style ceremony will be conducted by Keith Lloyd. I ORIGINALLY POSTED DETAILS AS I8 WAS GIVEN BUT I AM NOW TOLD THAT THE FUNERAL IS NOT FIXED. There are problems with family getting here. So, hopefully someone will post details on here when they are known.

Many people will have known Brian form his regular writings in the original Observer newspaper, plus he wrote a book and gave a talk or two on it, and he has had art exhibitions, with another planned for this year. A very talented man, quiet and interesting.
Sadly he lost his wife Elke a while back as she drowned on her 70th birthday, and now he will be interred with her in a joint grave.

R.I.P. Brian.
