Multimax - Reliability

well another day of the internet continually going down, wonder why they feel the need to upgrade people to higher speeds when they clearly cannot manage to maintain anywhere near 5mb - 0.57mb DL (just ran their speed tester) have tried phoning them at least a dozen time today just rings hmmm. So go to on-line live support, login, told 2 people in front of me please wait your problem is important to us, so I wait of course the queue reduces to one in front, continue to wait then slung into a screen where I'm asked to leave a message -- so no live support hmmmm

so Multimax is not allowed to have problems for some hours that would affect some basestations (4 to be exact, 2 in Kervansaray and 2 in Karmi) at all?

And the moment we do, somebody (in this case you) will come out and make an unnecessary and highly disrespectful comment of 'why they feel the need to upgrade people to higher speeds when they clearly cannot manage to maintain anywhere near bla bla'.

You have no idea what we are and we are not capable of doing, you have no idea what we have to go through, have some manners and respect. Tens of people working in Multimax are putting their hearts out so that you can relax at your home and receive the service that was considered a dream and impossibility in Cyprus just a short time ago.

We never claimed we are perfect, we have actually openly accepted that we are not. Even when we do problems, however, does not give you the right to make false claims that you do, or speak in such a disrespectful manner.

Why is it that the moment we have a problem, people start their sentences with 'do we have a problem again?' or in this case ' well another day of the internet continually going down' implying that if happens very often when it doesn't. Is this some sort of physological thing? I have checked our records that you have raised a ticket in our system regarding your problem at 5:19pm, and then you posted here at 5:53pm, just 34minutes after you have raised the issue with us. We have been using this ticketing system for approx 1 year and there is ZERO other tickets by you.

I have also checked our phone logs, and cannot find any calls from the number we have for you in the system, are you even sure you have been calling the correct number?. I have spoken with call support and they confirmed that there is no chance of somebody call as much as you claimed and it can be missed.

Regardless, the problem you have experienced have already been fixed by the time I am writing this message.

I have lived here for 8 years and Multimax is the most reliable and stable internet I have ever had. When they started they offered double what others were offering for the same price and now they have just upped that by an astonishing amount, proving they are a forward thinking evolving company.

Well done Multimax.

Straybear, please also remember (and I do not know if it is relevant) but we have had some extreme weather over the last few days which may have had something to do with it, if in the UK, a relatively advanced country we can have people without POWER a REAL essential for two weeks I think it is forgiveable for us to be without the luxury of internet for an hour or two when that rarely happens. I look forward to your second post.

Stray bear - vote with your feet and move to another provider if you are unhappy with MM. Personally, I have found this company to be streets ahead of the competition in provision, response, service and communication. Many of my neighbours are also MM users and all have complimented the service given. Perhaps you live in an out of the way location?

Straybear should have been here before Multimax, then he might have something to moan about. 8 years ago I had internet via my home phone line, which meant everytime the phone went down(which was often back then) , there was no internet, and when there was it was incredibly slow. Some friends of mine with a holiday home here, say their Mulitmax is faster here than their internet in England. I can remember when we finally got broadband in my little village in Dorset. First we had to guarantee a certain amount of people wanted it before it could be installed in the village, then loads of problems after it was set up. Be grateful Multimax do all they can for us all, as Kemal said maybe it's not perfect, but they have certainly improved things here.

I must admit I'm not getting the 9 and sometimes 10 speeds I had when we first contracted last September and yesterday was down to 3.58, but its fast enough to watch BBC Iplayer and FilmOn, so it can't be bad can it. As to replies to service call outs, then I have to say they are above the other people.
