If you are then try and hold out until after 7th April. It has just been announced by the Immigration and Security Minister that passports for overseas visitors are to be reduced by 35% i.e. Adult 32page £83.00 Child 32page £53.00 Apparently this is because of the savings UK government have made by applications not having to go to Madrid any longer.

Thats exactly who its for, for Expats living abroad who want to apply for a new passport and want to visit the Motherland/UK (as it were) just don't apply until after April 7th.
