NTV problem.

Hi am I alone in suffering faltering and loss of service tonight with NTV about 10 tonight? I logged onto the NTV site and found the online help still online. They say that my box is the problem even though it is only 18mths old but repowering starts it off again. Just out of interest if your box is wrong NTV cannot supply them but suggest e-bay or amazon for a replacement I feel a little cheated if it is the box as it has cost me iin excess of £10 a month for it;s use.

Hello Mick,

I am working along with NTV support. There are several tricks, which you can try in order to diagnose your box. First, open http://ntv.mx and login with your email and NTV password. Go to TV ONLINE from the top menu on the website and select the same channel, which you are watching on your TV, through the box. Look carefully whether the channel will freeze only on the TV or it will do it on both devices more or less at the same time. If it does it only on the box, then there might be an issue with the box and it may need powercycling or the network cable from the box to the router might be faulty. If it happens on both devices nearly at the same time it's most likely a problem with your internet connection or a problem on NTV's side. If none of this helps and you reside in North Cyprus, we can meet and I will reprogram your box free of charge, even if it's out of guarantee, which will clear any possible glitches from the box (if the issue is in the software).
