It would be nice if the HMRC shared my tax records with the DWP or even if the DWP actually told the HMRC how much OAP they are paying me - then I would not be always in debt to the HMRC because the two don't talk to each other and the HMRC have to "Guess" how much "TAX FREE" OAP I am getting from the DWP.
It would make a great story but who reads fiction anymore - lol.

I really do not think they are "proposing to let everyone see our tax records".Dalartokat wrote:Now the HMRC are proposing to let everyone see our Tax records................

Indeed not everyone, just those willing to pay for said data. Personally I would be happier if it was 'everyone' (including plebs like me) than just those willing to pay. Bit like all the data collected from things like Tesco club card, I would not mind so much if I could see my own Tesco club card data - but no I am just the 'source' of the data and not to be a beneficiary of its collection.Jonnie wrote:I really do not think they are "proposing to let everyone see our tax records".
