Hi all.

Is Alzheimer's a topic close to your heart ? Do you know someone who suffers with this, is this something that you are coping with because a loved one has been diagnosed. Do you feel alone at times, angry and frustrated ?

Can I reassure you that you are not.

There is support and help here in North Cyprus.

If you would like to know more details and if you would like to become involved Please contact me.

My friend moved back to the UK when his Wife developed Alzheimers. He looked after her for as long as he possibly could in TRNC, then realised she was going downhill so fast that she would eventually need to go into a home.

She is now settled in the second home they tried, but they couldnt have done that in Cyprus.

Hi, can I ask if his is a recognised "society" or is it run by some well meaning person without appropriate qualifications, experience or expertise to deal with the trauma of Alzheimer's? . What support is being offered? Is it professional support, practical help or what. Some more information on this please.

Thank you.
