So, how are the talks progressing ?
Did i read somewhere that there will be a referendum in July is that still on track ?

Don't know about the referendum but apparently the USA wants an ''early settlement''.

Could this be something to do with the gas reserves and Israel doing a little 'pushing'

Seems the South have spit the dummy out as they can't have Varosha back under confidence building measures. The Americans are cozying up to the south as they have their fingers on the gas and want to tuck the South up with their mates the Israelis, and the TCs are pretending they are negotiating while Turkey pulls the strings.all in a all a better saga than Eastenders.
