A warning to dog owners in the Catalkoy area

Just in from KAR -

We have been advised that someone has been putting out dried sausage laced with rat poison on the Catalkoy road leading up to Buffavento (near Cyprus Homes). The Belediyesi have been informed and they were going to clear the meat - however, as of yesterday afternoon this had not been done. The police have also been informed.
Apparently this is an area where these despicable individuals have laid poison before so please do not walk your dogs in this area.

Why wait for the Belediyesi? Would be nice if dog owners in the area got out and picked it up themselves. I drove back that way from the airport this morning and saw a couple of strays in the area. Hope for their sakes that it is picked up soon.
