Road closures in Lefkoşa on Thursday & Sunday morning

You might want to avoid driving to or through Lefkoşa tomorrow (Thursday) and Sunday morning. As you'll probably be aware, on Sunday there'll be the 20 Temmuz ceremony: So, the Mağusa road for a couple of miles from the Gönyeli (Rock-on-a-Stick) roundabout will be closed from 07:30 to about noon. Tomorrow (Thursday) there'll be a run-through of the ceremony ... and so the same stretch of road will be closed in the morning from about 08:30.

Mağusa will have road closures early evening on Friday and Sunday for a run-through and (their) ceremony respectively.

There are also roadworks in the other direction , where you would turn left for Metahan , road is closed (Pipe laying).

Oh thanks for that, I had forgotten the road closures & need to get hubby to airport in morning. Will go mountain road to miss it.
