The lovely lady that was Terry Cockshott died suddenly earlier in the week, and her funeral will be Friday at 10.30 at Green Hill Cemetery.
Terry was a very gracious lady who was born in Windsor Castle, and had a magical childhood, meeting Queen Mary, later Queen Elizabeth, and all due to the fact that her father was in the military. She was a great lady supporting Chris her husband who had the annual sailing club at Diana Beach, and she was also renowned for the wonderful clothes she wore (and incidentally often designed and made herself).
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, and if any wished to say farewell to her, then please attend the funeral,. Her husband Chris is donating her beautiful clothes to the KAR shop, (sackfulls of them according to Chris) so that in death she will be able to help animals which she adored.
A full obituary will be in KibKom Times NEXT week after the funeral but for now condolences to Chris, the family and all to whom she meant much.

Does anyone know if flowers from friends are to be accepted or is a charity involved?
I have been asked to arrange flowers from friends in the UK.

Have put a posting elsewhere, but for anyone reading this threa,d I am posting agaiqn so no one misses it.
Firslty, Chris and the family would prefer that money is given to KAR rather than flowers. They will have some, but that is more to go in the grave with Terry as part of the 'farewell' by the family. If you wish to donate to KAR you can either give it direct, or there should be a box at the cemetery for anyone going to the ceremony.
Secondly, because of who Terry was, no black please! Bright colours, and comfortable clothing. The family is sure that Terry would approve of that!
Thanks for asking the questions, and sorry I have taken a little longer to reply. Out all day (nothing changes for me, doesn it?).
As a reminder, the funeral is 10.30 at Green Hill, and if anyone has any queries, they are welcome to phone me on 0533 882 4313.

I should perhaps have said that if anyone has a problem with transport, although it is a bit late in the day, do contact me and I will see what can be done. There are people with four wheel drive vehicles going up there, but they may already be full. Sorry I did not mention it before.
