How can a message on the Sales Forum appear on my husbands IPad but not on my PC. He put something up for sale yesterday and when I switched on this morning, I said his thread wasn't appearing. He switched on his IPad and there it is with 2 people having viewed it!! Bit of a mystery. Perhaps it'll pop on my screen later this morning?

Maybe, you are not both looking at the same view of the website? e.g. one is looking at 'active topics' the other something else... that's what normally causes confusion.. it's not the PC.

Thanks Groucho, don't know what happened, but we had identical page up and we went through line by line and his was definitely different to mine. I switched PC off, left it for about an hour, switched back on and there it was. Very strange.

You were probably just looking at a page stored on your computer not refreshed.... If you go back and forth sometimes it just shows the previous page as is was the time before when you looked and does not reload the page - this is called caching. You can force it to reload of course (in Chrome you simply hit the clockwise arrow in the top left hand corner of the screen if that doesn't work then CTRL + F5 to reload ignoring cache).
