Re: Connecting Netflix to Kindle Fire via MIFI
When I am the in TRNC, sometimes, I miss UK programs, so a kind lady at Saturday market pointed out "filmon.com".
I downloaded the app on my kindle fire and glad to say it works perfect. connect to wifi , click on "filmOn" icon and watch at the comfort of your home or from anywhere you like.
"filmOn" has channels from all over the world... very good.
please note "filmOn" does not work in the UK, because of BBC "The corporation" put a block on it....
forget about Netflix, try "filmOn"..
Good luck

At the moment here in the TRNC Film On is not working, it is buffering all the time, and as one member pointed out you now need 4 Meg to watch it.

I was watching Film On last night all ok it depends on the internet speed, not Film On themselves as it is only a web site

Re: Connecting Netflix to Kindle Fire via MIFI
I have been trying for months to get Netflix to work here, I have a VPN and still no joy. Netflix says it's not available this country.
Hope this helps.

Success with choosing channels via the Filmon website but although I have 6 GB on my MIFI it is still fluctuating with connection breaks.
However overall the MIFI is great for the house and last week we were running 5 devices!
The dongle is now obsolete!
Thanks for all the help

Carbotec, How are you trying to get netflix?I have been able to get netflix UK and Netflix USA for the last couple of years.Who supplies your VPN? Where did you register your netflix account.

Lotto dotty, thanks for that info maybe I should register it in the UK and not here, Netflix keeps telling me it's not available in your country

Carbotec,Yes you will need to register netflix in the UK online. So long as you have a UK bank account for the monthly fee to be taken out you should be OK,I wouldn't worry to much about an address though, although from memory it does ask for one.Netflix is not available in Cyprus unless you use a VPN.

my Netflix account is via the UK and I tried to access it using a VPN but still no joy. This was all via my Kindle by the way.

Journey1,I have no experience of Kindle, but why would you want to watch Netflix on a kindle if you have a computer or iPad,connect one of these to your TV and away you go full screen on TV.Who supplies your VPN it might be worth contacting them as to why it's not working.Do you pay a fee for the VPN or is it one of the free ones.
