We watch ITV via Multimax VPN but some programmes are OK whereas some buffer so badly they are unwatchable.
For example last night tried to watch Broadmoor which would not run at all but Blue Murder was absolutely fine. Can anyone explain this as it does not make sense to me, have not contacted Multimax because it does not appear to be their problem.
ITV programmes buffering help please

Re: ITV programmes buffering help please
This is a typical example of 'problem on the other end'...
ITV uses tens if not hundreds of servers for serving their content.
At any given time, it is plausible that servers that has 'Blue Murder' had enough capacity whereas servers that serve 'Broadmoor' was overcrowded with requests.
Unfortunately, nobody can really make sure of the exact cause other than the ITV themselves so we can only speculate.

Re: ITV programmes buffering help please
Perhaps this is the same reason why when I click on to watch a documentary first shown a week or so ago, it comes on automatically and almost instantaneously. Click on to watch an episode of a popular series, I frequently get message "this programme does not appear to be working, try again" OR (try again later).
