Hotmail anomaly

Hi when I forward e-mails I click on too and get a list of my contacts. I have discovered that there are two e-mail addresses there that I have not added and I cannot delete them. If I access my contacts to delete that way they do not appear. Any one any suggestions cos it's baffled me

thanks
Mick

I don't believe it! 91 people looked but no-one has an answer. Surely there must be somone who is computer savvy who knows the problem and answer.

I think there are two sets of contacts (possibly) one you have ssetup an others that are contacts becausee they have sent yousomething in the past, or been on a cc in the past. However, I do not really know, but maybe Soner willknoow the answer when he reads it. or someone like Erol. sorry i can't help, but don't condemn the 91 who read it - they are as baffled as you (and me), I reckon.

I think Marion is correct. They do seem to store people you have been in contact with as well as people you put in as contacts. I also think they are messing about with hotmail at the moment as today it said my password was too long and I had to drop the last letter of it. It has always worked before, so they are obviously in the process of changing things. I do wish these sites would leave things alone, you just get it sorted and they change it all.

Go to Windows Live, from top of screen if in Hotmail.

Click on Messenger, in same place on screen.

Look for Your Friends, on right side of the screen.

Click on View Invitations and you may have a list of contacts waiting for you to say yes or no.
If you see the names that are being displayed in Hotmail contacts via the To button then delete them.

Check the Groups for the names and delete the ones you need to.
