Don't know of any place doing Christmas events apart from all the hotels that are advertising. I expect you want to avoid hotels after your experience. You could try Kings bowling alley on the bypass road in Girne. They have a lot of different fun things for children to do and play on. Give them a ring 0392 4446070

I am going to put my tin hat on & suggest you make a festive atmosphere at home instead of expecting to go out & be entertained & fed which is a relatively new custom for Christmas.

Its a shame the smaller places don't concentrate on Boxing Day and New Year's day instead of trying to compete on the 'bigger' days, it probably would be more worthwhile them doing something -

I do miss Hatice at Soyz this year, she has always had something going on these days

No our oven is not repairable. Our landlord is refusing to fix it. That and the fact im not very well at the moment is the reason we wanted to go out. Our landlord is such a charmer he rented us a flat with on money to fix any of the repairs. We have not even got a working tv. That is why aft er only being here 3 weeks we are trying to find a new place. Now looking for a nice resturent

I believe Silver Rocks is open over the holiday, may be worth a call 0392 821 8922 Not exactly for children, but worth a try. Good luck!

Silver Rocks is lovely, brilliant food not expensive , and the children can play on the decking, the little beach and in the sea!
