With or without chilli sauce?

I like hot news but not sure about the sauce - too many calories! So what hot news can you give me about this Kibapp?

If it works on my iphone...yes please!

As I don't own an I phone (too poor to have one) I guess I cannot say 'yes please' or maybe it is time I got an I phone!

I only have a simple samsung mobile and would be lost with anything more technical, but I trust you implicitly Soner so I will go in at the deep end, even though I can't swim, and say, purely out of curiosity, yes, I would like one please

OK, here we go, however, the Kibkom Kibapp has only just been approved by Apple so needs to be updated which will happen over the next few days.

What is the Kibkom Kibapp?

KIBAPP an essential travel guide to North Cyprus. Access information and maps to North Cyprus Tourist sites, Events, Restaurants, Discounts, Government Office Locations and much more... It includes the online Kibkom Business and Telephone Directory for Northern Cyprus, The Kibkom Online North Cyprus Forum and The Kibkom Times, a weekly local newspaper for Northern Cyprus. The Kibapp also feeds you with the latest news and events in The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. A must have App for anyone visiting or living in North Cyprus!

I have pain painstakingly added maps to all locations which do not work yet on Apple but will soon work (have been told within 2 months - however, I will be adding temporary maps manually to the Kibapp within the next week. If you have an Apple iPhone, you can find places much more easily as they are accurately pin-pointed, you will also be able to use your iPhone as a Sat Nav to route your journey.

I am hoping that the Kibapp will become popular with locals and tourists will be working on TRNC businesses to offer special discounts to people that use the Kibapp. This is all very new and I hope the Kibapp will grow and become an invaluable tool in the very near future.

Would happily rat,e but it tells me I must download I-tunes, which I thought might be a good ide,a but then it tells me it takes over an hour to download, so I will leave that to another day!

Shame I thought I could give a good rating, as I know they won't give any average rating until there have been a few postings. Thought it would help, but as often do, thought wrongly. I guess the time is fast approaching to get an I pad.

I get as far as rate and review, gave it 5 stars but when I start to type a review the send doesn't work.

I thought it didn't work yesterday but this morning when I went to try again yesterday's is there so now I may have done twice!!!

Working on Android, sorry for the delay but it will happen soon.

I have had to postpone the Kibapp Android release due to technical challenges. The Android build is currently being tested but it is unlikely to be released until late Jan ’14. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Android version not out yet, still undergoing some tests then hopefully out end of this month.

Soner a great site really enjoy using it. The only problem for me using my iPhone us there us no back button on the forum so I have to start again, unless I have not found it. Again a great site and I wish you good luck.

Doesn't work here. Downloaded ok... but when you try to open it you get the frog on the screen then just a loading circle with 'Updating app' and 'loading app'

Been doing that for ten minutes!!

Hi CoolKarsiyaka, are you downloading it from iTunes? You would need to use WI-FI rather than mobile phone line, as there is a lot to download and seems like the connection is not good enough.

i downloaded it from itunes on wifi to my ipad. when i try to open it i get this problem....?

Soner, what news on the Android version please?

Hi TomSteel, sorry, I have been having a major headache with the App, not only Android but with iOS. I will now need to redevelop on another platform, but this time both Android and iOS will be available. Will take me a couple of weeks to sort this out.
No rest for the wicked ...as they say.

But I have just completed development of another KibApp which is in the process of being approved by Google , Amazon and Apple. So, you may need to download again once it has been approved. This version will be better and will work on all smart phones.

Ailsa, you can't eat the KibApp, but you can get it with Chilli Sauce.
