We have a dish on the roof which is set to pick up Nile Sat. The TV and system came with the apt - sadly no instructions! We don't watch tv very much but on a winters evening when we are out its nice to stay in and watch a film. We believe system is working but last time we were out signal seemed weak on most channels - maybe dish moved in winter? Anyone recommend someone to come out and check it over? Will say now that if system is broken or major cost involved to fix we will not bother with it and just watch DVDs but would like it checked.

Little shop in the road behind the Pia Bella hotel cannot miss it as the shop has ariels outside . Lovely Turkish guy who will not charge the earth to have a look. However just be on the safe side ask him to write down the costs when he has had a look at what work needs doing.

If it is a Digiturk system which I believe it is they will come and check it out for you. Not expensive either.

You could try his workshop in Girne in the road nearly opposite the Colony Hotel. Alternatively turn left at the Telephone Exchange, past the Fire Station & then 1st right. Iceman's workshop is in the RH side & his office is next door just beyond the workshop. You cannot miss it.
