Hi,
I am a carer/home help.
Within a couple of weeks, two of the people I look after had vaccums that packed in.
I went along with one of them to Arcelik and she bought the model S 7430, it is fantastic, if you put it on full power it will suck the tiles off your floor.
I think they have designed it on the Dyson, but it is much lighter and easier than the dyson.
It has a removable plastic dust tank, and filter, both of which you can wash, and a powerful 2000 motor. I wouldn't say it is the quietest of vaccums and you don't get lots of attachments but I think as many as you might need, it does a really good job.
It also has a really good length of lead.
I was so impressed that I recommended it to my other lady who also bought it.
When we went for the first one it was reduced from 269tl to 199tl.
It has been further reduced and is now 170tl.
You can see it on their website.

You can't beat a Meile vacuum cleaner, I have had mine for twenty years. It has never broken down and is going as strong as ever. You pay a little more but they last for ever and give the best performance of all.

I have an Arnica which is bagless. Instead, you put water in the main body and the suction is brilliant. It is not a Vac or like a Henry but rather the dust and dirt collects in the water and then you through that away. Bought mine in the shop opposite HSBC.

many thanks folks for the replies
All very useful.
Carrierbag - I presently have the water filtration system vacuum cleaner which unlike yours is useless and I have an awful job trying to get the lid off the tank to clean it out.
So back to basics for me !
Cheers

I have bought the Arnica Waterfiltre system. It is great. So much less dust.Perfect for people with dust allergy and also good as no bags have to be bought. You just clean it afterwards.
