Why do I rarely post???

I and maybe many other Forum browsers have the attention span of a Gnat!

I look at the General thread to see what is being actively discussed. Usually this just shows many threads which have zero or few responses, some there for days or weeks. This makes the Forum look very unsupported and not inducive to posters or new members. Many of the Active threads have been 'filed' under sub headers.
Do I have to search every header from Aardvarks to Zoology to find active discussion?
Lifes too short!
Surely it is best to leave active threads on the main page to show site activity?

Last night I was posting on the Renewable Energy thread where 'spamming' PM's were mentioned, Soner responded, but the thread disappeared without any 'Locked' or 'Moved' message.
OK, I found it this morning under the Renewable Energy tab.

Why move an active thread while leaving leaving an inactive thread on your main page??

p.s. I am still having connection problems with Kibkom which I don't have on the many other sites and forums I vist frequently. My Internet settings are fine, but here I continually get 'Cannot find website,..', or 'Checking your Browser,. Ddos by cloudfare,.' etc. I get the same from 2 other computers on different security software both in UK and NC.
Much as I enjoy this Site, I may be forced to remove it and any associated files from my computer, which will be a shame, but I have to consider my own Internet security.

p.p.s. I tried twice to post a similar comment earlier today, if it does now appear, it will be because I have copied to Wordpad and re-pasted to make yet another attempt at posting! ;-(

Owl-There are several buttons on the top of the page such as- View new posts,View unread posts,View unanswered posts and view active topics that will address your needs perfectly without you having to trawl through all the subheadings,or indeed posts/topics that you have already looked at.
The reason for all the sub categories was I think done a while back at the request of members who were getting fed up with the 'front page' being cluttered with lost pets and adverts.
Give the buttons a try and I think all your problems will be solved.
Hope this helps.

I always click new posts first then go on from there if there is anything I am interested in.

Thanks for the comments.

The main problem is with getting disconnected each time I change pages/threads, or anything!
I've tried IE and Chrome, also tried lowering Security settings,.. just the same, 'Cannot find website',..'Checking your browser',..

I tried posting this a few minutes ago, pressed 'submit',.... cut off! Got back on,.. my message gone. Doh!

If you see this, it's because I've 'copied' and 'pasted' via wordpad.

Has anyone else had any such problems?

Owl, I have made some changes to your account. The Cloudflare is a protection for the forum. Anyway, let me know if you still have any problems with connection.
