Can anyone give me any details or timings for next Fridays (15th ) Fly Past please

Have I missed something here, not seen any thing about it?

It's normally sometime around 3 or 3:30pm and best viewed from Girne harbour area. Celebrating TRNC Republic Day.

I am amazed that Owl Lady knows nothing about this event!
There is an air display every 15th November as part of Republic Day Celebrations.
This year is extra special as it is 30 years since the founding of TRNC.
I have posted on an earlier thread about the displays this year but as yet there has been no specific times given or if both Turkish Stars and Solo Turk are appearing at Girne or at the big do at Lefkosa. Whatever at least one will offer a display that must be seen about 15.30 off Girne promenade.

Hi cyprusishome. I didn't say I didn't know about it. I meant I hadn't seen it advertised. I have been to watch everyone for the past 8 years.

I have a very strong feeling the weather might not permit a fly past this year. If I am not mistaken - the last time Solo Turk performed, it was because there was a surprise break in clouds over Girne which allowed him a 15 minute slot. I think there is a 50-50 chance that we shall see one again this year.

I have never seen the event advertised, it just happens. I check it out on Turkish Stars web site.
Probably because it is a national holiday most just go. This will be our 8th, plus 20th July every year, just think the air show is one of the best plus it is free.
