Problem with filmon

I have had problems getting some of the film on channels recently.
It seemed to me the the expat shield was only giving cover intermittently
I therefore contacted the expat shield website and explained the problem.
I received a reply stating that expat shield which is free is no longer supported
and that I need to upgrade to hotspot shield elite to be able to get all the channels.
This is a pay for service and costs $29.95 per year.
Has anyone got any comments on this subject??

Why are you using expat shield with filmon ? Filmon should work without the need for any VPN ?

Tried it with and without with no luck on channels such as ITV1 or BBC1. Always understood that you needed expat shield or alike if outside the UK. Cannot get free VPN as I am not a customer!! May consider changing at some point.

Agree you don't need a VPN with filmon, but it can be very annoying some days with buffering every 10 mins or so. I quite often use the reording facility with filmon too, that's brilliant!

When I have a problem with filmon, missing channels etc I click on the the support at the top of the page and it then opens for you to fill in a ticket and you write and tell them your precise problem. They will then email you a automated response and soon one of the technical team will send you details of what you can do. I have found them to be very quick and helpful. You do not need to use a VPN to watch as Filmon is free.
