would love to know who quoted £25 each way. Last time I went I managed to get a £40 one way, but it burst my budget. At least there is two of you. I had to pay it for a taxi for one. There are buses from Nicosia if you can get yourself there. Of course it depends on the time of day, but it is possib le to do it by bus and then dolmus. I couldn't because of the timing of my flights, but if you are strapped for cash, that could be the way to go. Or find a friend that =will run you over for the cost of the petrol.

Ah, there had to be a catch. No good to me I am afraid, as I have my own car! But sounds good. Actually if you are hiring a car, I believe that there are some that willdo the transfer for nothing if you are having a car from them. So maybe someone out there knows of a better deal.

Always use A1 for transfer and car hire. A1 will do transfer for £25 each way to/from Larnaca if you hire a car from them. Always found them very reliable. As a regular customer we also managed to get a £20 discount on the car hire which we were offered when we were picking up the car from their offices....we travelled early May and because it was not busy were also offered a choice of any car we wanted that were parked up....Seat, Ford Focus, Suzuki Jimny

Others seem to charge £90 - £110 for transfer only. Car hire could possibly be a little cheaper but I believe that it all balances out.

Dont think you will get much change from £100 or YTL equivalent if you only want transfer and no hire car.

If you find something please share. Unless of course it isn't legal!

You may have to wait for more passengers if the are 2 of you I know a couple recently waited over an hour.

Just to confirm that we have used A1 four times and each time we have not had to wait for others. Mind you even if we did have to wait we would not be concerned...at £25 each way we can understand that they would need to fill the minibus if at all possible...thats business.

The last time we were being picked up at Larnaca, we came thro customs and were met by A1. The driver apologised because on the way down the thermostat on the vehicle had failed on the journey and it was overheating. He said he did not want to risk taking us back in case it should break down on the journey. He had therefore arranged a taxi to take us all the way to Girne.....he even asked was that OK!

Problems do happen but its the way they are dealt with that is important - great service we thought.
