I'm going to exchange some sterling into lira and pop it in the universal bank to earn some interest. Would I get a decent exchange rate at the bank or should I exchange it at a bureau then put it in the bank. my bank is universal.

I would exchange at Monex opposite lemar Karakum.
I would also shop round the banks to get the best rate on your resultant lira.

Thanks philoz , do you think the banks will give a lesser ex rate??

I changed sterling at the Universal bank it was the same rate as money exchange.

Thanks deniz1. I wasn't sure if the banks gave a lower rate,doesn't seem much point messing around, but I will check at the bank first to make sure I'm getting the going rate
