We bought a fireguard last year and it caught fire and melted
So, as winter is fast approaching we have decided that seen as we have managed to renew our rental agreement for a further 2 years we will have one made to measure but a heavy duty for safety.
Can anyone recommend an iron works that could help me?
Thanks
Sue

Sue,
Try Arman Metal Company.
Okten, the owner speaks good English and can be contacted on 0542 8550928
He is located on the left of the Merit/Red Lobster road.
Have used him, so can recommend him.

Hi Scoobydoo,
If you are interested we have a fire guard 80x55cm professionally made to our specification 75 TL, and a matching companion set also 75 TL would take 120 TL for the pair, very high quality. This is half what we paid for them, if you are interested please telephone 05338355549.

The Banshee: Many thanks for your offer, I have measured our fireplace and unfortunately your guard is too small or else I would have taken your offer.
Puppylover: I will go and check it out and if I get lost I will ring you!!

I have never heard any thing like it, you put up a fire guard to protect you from fire and the blooming thing catches fire. It would be quite funny if it wasn't for the fact that it was very dangerous.

Maggie,
We did find it amusing once we got it out of the house but not at the time!
This time we will be having a heavy duty one made to measure - I don't think I could cope with the panic again.
