If it is the one I think it isl it is absolutely lovely and quite a romantic little place, and of course convenient to the harbor, castle etc, etc. Just one downside - the call to prayer. The mosque is very nearby, but if that does not bother you, then a lovely place to go.

Booked in there for our first North Cyprus holiday, then the tour operator went bust.

Eventually went to have a look round, and loved it, loads of antique furniture. Bit awkward for parking though.

I would say, check they have some good form of heating!! February weather not the best, but I am sure you know that. Owned by Onar Village and Café Chimera on the harbour (which is staying open all this Winter for the first time I remember).Enjoy.

Cafe Chimera normally stays open all winter I think, just last year that they shut for the renovations.
Was lovely in there one lunchtime this week with the log fire burning.

I forgot to say that some of the rooms are loveloy,l and there is a nice enclosed garden for sitting/eating etc, but the carparking is a bit difficult, but there is a car park not too many yards away. But of course you have to pay, but maybe they have a special arrangement. Ask them?

As far as I can remember Café Chimera always closed for about a month after New Tear and most of the staff went back to their families in Kurdistan.

Hubby and I stayed there for two weeks when we first arrived in TRNC, that was our base for exploring the surrounding areas while we decided where we wanted to stay. The hotel is lovely and staff are great. The rooms very cosy, each with it's own different style. We arrived in the depths of winter but don't worry about being warm enough in the room. The one thing I do remember - besides the amount and variety at breakfast - was me exclaiming about the heat bouncing out of the radiators in the bedrooms - all the time! And our 4 poster bed was cute and comfy!
