Just come back from Andre Rieu concert in Istanbul where 9,000 attended the most memorable experience. If you don't know his concerts look it up on google or You Tube. The most amazing very funny orchestra. We were the only ones amongst the Turkish who took flags! Which ones? The TRNC of course and got onto the video! So wonderful to advertise this beautiful unrecognised country as the videos go out world wide. Highly recommend you to look.

What is it with people and flags?

Its fun! Normally at his concerts the countrys flag is waved by all, but the TRNC flag has so much history and heartache behind it. It is a flag that means so much to so many people here who have lost loved ones. We felt proud for the people here to be there and wave it.
