Apparently Vin Diesel was not quite "totally speechless"

Sad as it is I am often surprised at the outpouring of grief when this sort of thing happens. I have a teenage niece in tears over it, yet no-where in her time line has she got a mention for Lee Rigby!!! Celebrity culture just seems to take more of a hold every day. I find it even more poigniant after the recent death of Racing Driver Sean Edwards who is the sort of person who actually makes these people famous, because often the serious driving in this type of film (though I cannot speak about this series) is done by drivers like him. There are decent people with families dying every day, 2 police officer and a civilian carrying out their duties in Glasgow died the day before whilst trying to make this world a better place to live. I think we should be grateful that no innocent pedestrians were killed by what certainly appears to be a driver testing the limits of a modified Porsche on a public highway. Keep racing for the track.

Cherish life, your only given one!
Maybe god put us all here for a reason of experience before we go to the real life.
Some people are taught a lesson and some have their life taken accidentally or by cruel people.
There are many decent people in the world that have their life taken or other reasons for the loss.
This is not what we want to happen but ... It's life

And vin diesel Is everywhere on my Facebook news showing too upset at Paul's funeral
With the camera man that won't give him space and respect! Because they have the camera right in his face!

Famous or not famous, everybody is people with feelings about who they admired or honoured.
Yes everybody was shocked and upset for lee rigby but this thread is about a different person. And if your a film addict and no your actors then this news would also be as much devastating to learn about aswell.

What about people that are not famous or honoured like us.

I believe in some aspects yes you are right jonnie but I am entitled to share my feelings beyond this.
And I have a weak spot and sad about it and for also his daughter aswell.
Yes they were showing off and careless drivers but most young lads are the same in these situations and then cost their own life's. unfortunately they didn't cost anybody else's!
Very very lucky,, especially with the state of their car!

Personally never heard of this actor but it is sad when two such young men die. It is very fortunate that they never killed anyone else driving in such a reckless manner. Having seen the photos to be driving so fast on a public road was criminal at best.

bubbles, I accept your feelings in this thread but I have to agree with jonnie in that Paul Walker was an actor know to you from watching movies he has done little to have such a large amount grief as seen in the press.

Can we not respect the original poster wishes and allow people to offer condolences without fear of ridicule, just because he is a public figure. Yes, other people, soldiers etc deserve our sympathy and respect too but do we have to berate people because they feel a loss of someone they liked or revered. If you are a fan of someone of course you will miss them.

I see from the press that Paul set up a special charity and was actually at a fundraiser function just before the crash. I`m sure those that benefited from his efforts will miss him too.

Zebedee, I have not ridiculed anyone, please read my post again.
