Isn't it strange, more comments about Onder store in Lefkosa than the death of Nelson Mandela. RIP.

Rip nelson Mandela

This is an open forum.

Whilst Nelson Mandela is possibly one of the greatest statesmen of recent history and whilst Mistybrian's comments may be extreme it is important to remember the whole "Mandela" and recognise that in the past he may have been responsible for unpleasant things.

Not wanting to besmirch his memory, when the funeral is over and if and when people read his history, it is open to the world to see that he at times believed that "the end justifies the means" In the meantime its best to remember the good in the man and not the bad. In this I believe Jonnie is quite right.

IMHO, and it is only my opinion, what this astounding man did to change the world for the better perhaps warranted the means.I stick with my admiration for a brave man, others have the democratic right to their own opinion
