....for organising such a wonderful fundraising day in aid of Tulips today, you both done a wonderful job, and what a great day it was, be so so proud of yourselves you deserve to, and well done, cos it was done to perfection, and also the staff at Jessics who worked so hard today to make sure everyone was happy deserve some thanks, what a wonderful day, and am sure Sue and Carol are overjoyed at the great sum raised by these two exceptional people. and also the people that attended and just wanted to give, it was a pleasure just to be there!!!!

Yes, we had a wonderful night and so many people to thank:

Firstly our thanks go to John and Maureen Swayne who organised this darts competition in memory of their nephew who tragically died at a young age in a road traffic accident. We are eternally grateful and the Association cannot thank John and Maureen enough for all their hard work in organising the event, finding sponsors for the event and prizes for the raffle. They work tirelessly and without expecting any thanks and as such we cannot thank them enough and praise them for their enthusiasm and charitable spirit.

The event was held at Jessics Bar, Lapta (our thanks go to Mustafa for all his hard work) and was an outstanding success.

The winners of the Darts Competition were as follows:

Winner John Swayne 500tl + trophy
Second Erdinc Canbolat 300tl + trophy
Third Elmas Cocuk 100tl + trophy
Highest Checkout Selcuk Ulasti 50tl + trophy
Best Lady Player Debbie Brodie 100tl + trophy

The final amount raised at this event was an amazing 5,310.25 TL – this amount includes sponsorship money, entrance fees (49 entered), 5TL per meal sold (amounting to 235TL), the raffle, further donations on the day and lastly, but by no means least; John Swayne’s winning money of 500TL which he donated back to Tulips.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to 5 members of the KKDF (Darts Federation) who collectively purchased and donated a new wheelchair for KHYD/HTWCA/Tulips. The presentation of this wheelchair on the day was a complete surprise to Tulips and we were astounded at the generosity of the people who are listed below:
