Chemist in Karaoglanoglu

Has anyone else had experience of the Karaoglanoglu chemist overcharging? I had been there on a few occasions and felt that the man had overcharged me but wasn't sure because the items didn't have the price ticket on them. It was only after I'd been to another chemist for same items that I realised I had been charged double the real price for the items. I went back there again to make a point and when he told me the price I told him this wasn't correct but he said it was. I consequently told him where to put the items and walked out! Is it legal to sell drugs without the price ticket? If they haven't a ticket are they fakes?

This chemist is famous (or do I mean informamous) for over charging. I know if one person who was charged very recently 100tl for a box of tablets which should have cost 18tl. When informed of this fact she went back and after a bit of yak yak yak between husband and wife. she was handed 82tl back, without comment. I have been charged 32.45tl for cream that should have cost 9.5tl (the original price had been hand written over). I showed this to the husband who said, "this is the price now" I told him he was wrong and showed him a pack I had bought two days previously from another chemist, which was a larger tube. The was the usual yak yak between husband and wife and he said "sorry I am wrong". Be very very careful at this chemist. Other chemists are aware of what goes on, but won't do anything. Much like trying to get a solicitor in the UK to criticise another one.

If buying any medicines from this chemist please check the expiry date on the carton, twice we have got medicine home only to find they were out of date, they have been changed without a problem but shouldn't be sold in the first place.

Replied earlier but not posted! If this is the one next to Tempo this happened to us on two occasions (thought first time an error) many years ago never to return!
