Car Hire from Larnaca to travel to Lapta for few days

Does anyone have experience of visitors hiring a car at Larnaca Airport, for travel to Lapta for a few days.? Does it present difficulties at the Border? Contact details of Hire Company would be appreciated, if one is known.

I always use these Guys no problems. Tell them your taking it North they don't mind. I have just look used them eleven times, never let me down.

Sorry forgot to say, no problem at the border you just have to buy insurance.

Another query for those helpful people who responded---if the person hiring the car at Larnaca, arrives at Metehan border crossing after the Insurance office has closed, what does he do? Can the hiring company at Larnaca arrange the Insurance beforehand?

Yes. Petsas Car Hire at LCA Airport will certainly arrange it at an extra cost of €10, making a total of €35 for that insurance. They are on-line and take bookings via that medium. Top company and all my visitors use this company.
