Re: club z
Yes, several times, years ago, friends also stayed there with us.
It was OK until the owner told me "Now that we are getting a casino, we no longer want British guests". He said that was the attitude with all the "Casino Hotels".
One of the advantages was the short distance into town, and the closeness to the Sele restaurant, but after that statement none of us stayed there again.

As I understand it, Club Z is only interested in gamblers (hence the length of time they spent revamping the place last year) . If you want to stay close to the town but have all the advantages of pools etc and a nice garden, then Pia Bella is the place to go.

You are right Sophie (see my post above), but the Pia Bella is not much further from the town centre, and has a good reputation.sophie wrote:As I understand it, Club Z is only interested in gamblers (hence the length of time they spent revamping the place last year) . We called in there many years ago, before moving to TRNC, and asked to see some rooms. They showed us all round the hotel, then sat us down with coffee and brandy.
