Yes, several times, years ago, friends also stayed there with us.
It was OK until the owner told me "Now that we are getting a casino, we no longer want British guests". He said that was the attitude with all the "Casino Hotels".
One of the advantages was the short distance into town, and the closeness to the Sele restaurant, but after that statement none of us stayed there again.

Pia Bella has a very good reputation and same people (Brits) go back year after year.

Been gone quite a while now its an italian restaurant called I Belli.

I am one of the Brits going back to the Pia Bella year after year 3 months this year, highly recommend it.

As I understand it, Club Z is only interested in gamblers (hence the length of time they spent revamping the place last year) . If you want to stay close to the town but have all the advantages of pools etc and a nice garden, then Pia Bella is the place to go.

You are right Sophie (see my post above), but the Pia Bella is not much further from the town centre, and has a good reputation.
We called in there many years ago, before moving to TRNC, and asked to see some rooms. They showed us all round the hotel, then sat us down with coffee and brandy.
