In a word "no". Been trying for over a year now. Someone suggested I try Tektan. However, I have had spare parts posted over here and repaired it myself on two occasions. What I have now is a wiring problem and can't sort that out unfortunately. There are web sites that can suply parts for just about any machine. Genuine parts but much cheaper than Dyson direct.

Scarlett, I might be stating the obvious, but have you taken the brush head apart and cleaned it. Mine was always jamming, and just needed a clean.

SS1, you've beaten me too it. I was going to say the same. I sometimes had to take the brushes out and unpick all the bunched up hair, dust, bits of cotton etc etc, that had wound themselves so tight, the brushes wouldn't move. When I'd finished they were like new.

There is a very good electrical repair man on the main Catalkoy road situated at the end of the small rank of shops where the Stroll Inn restaurant is _ next to Funky Divas hairdressers. He has repaired several different things for me.

Best thing you can do with a Dyson Vacuum is throw it straight in the bin they are nothing but trouble.

You may or may not be corect Munchkin, but with 4 dogs in the house, we've found over the years that the Dyson, really was the only machine that totally removed them on the carpets. Other machines promised a lot but didn't come up with the goods.
