Couldn't open the picture or the letter, but read the article in Kibkom times and the latest postings. I presume Beauty has a new home. I am delighted, another success story for Kibkom forum.

That is wonderful. Reading that her new name will be 'Beauty from KibKom' - maybne it could be KKB for short! (as opposed to KGB! Seriously, I am thrilled. Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it at such a happy ending. Let's hope there are lots more happy endings for dogs who need someone to love.

How hard can it be finding a home for a dog that can type its own docx documents and post them as attachments to forum posts ? Try finding a home for one that can only bark - now that is a challenge.

Very funny Erol. Isn't it great how people on Kibkom are still taking in dogs. Some people in the past have complained about the animals seeking homes on here, but I think it's brilliant that at least some animals are finding new homes. I hope Beauty will be very happy.

You'll have to enter her into the KAR dog show in April in the Best Rescued Dog category. These eyes should soften any judges heart!!

Maybe the level of love on the island is increasing as more and ore people are finding it possible to share their homkes and their hearts with another piece of God's creation, much of which is more beautiful than we humans who have the task of being their custodians.

Of course it might be an idea to start a Bark School to teach them the Three R's and then more people will be taking them in- and making them their secretaries.

Like the Beatles said 'All you need is love' and Kibkomers certainly seem to have a lot of it. Whoopee.

By the way guys, I am one of the people that try to increase awareness of the needs of the turtles. It is tough because they are not cuddly, not trainable, cannot take for walkies, but they are a vital part of the environment. Another case of our caring for the created world.
