Girne Edwardian Musical Society Evening
We were fortunate to be able to get tickets to their evening of Music Hall Melodies on Saturday night held at the Tervetuloa Restaurant, in Alsankak. The whole evening was enjoyable from the staff, the food and most of all the entertainers. A lot of work we are sure went into this evening but also sure that all that attended left having had a good time. Thanks to the society. Great night.

And don't forget that the Diabetic Associaiton will benefit as well - so good food, good entertainment and a good cause. Great Triple, methinks.
And there is a rumour that something similar will be done in the future - same idea different numbers, same caus,e same grub. Good - innit?

Don't know who they were. Maybe because we were in what Michael called 'The Royal Box' I am sure it wa snot us cos I don't drink (well I had water!), but I guess it was someone down the other corne.r What a shame.

I enjoyed it as well and was on Marion's table. It was definitely not us ,but the table next but one. Why did they bother to go there, if all they wanted to do was drink and talk in loud voices. Why not just go to a bar?

I didn't hear them. I was too busy enjoying a sing song! But if it had been just dining, Imight have heard and I might have felt miffed. Same thing happened to us at Christmas. And there wa s no sing song to balance it out! I hpe the artistes did not notice it too much. It can be very off=-putting.
