Must say its nice to come onto the "View new posts " tonight and not see it full of the sales posts being bttt over and over again . Why do people have to post loads of sales separate ? , others do a list of sales on the same posts and bring it to the top a couple of times but others bring it up over and over for months .

Well I must say I hold my hands up.. I'm one of them people
Its difficult for people to keep it in the same page if they are uploading pictures.
As it will only let you upload maximum 4, (maybe because of the expense in the forum).
Some people are not computer ninjas either

I totally agree with this, whilst I appreciate that it is frustrating if your post disappears off of the page without you having managed to sell, it obviously hasn't sold because people aren't interested in it and bringing it back to the top 7 or 8 times yourself is probably just irritating most members rather that increasing your chances of selling the item. Have you considered having a market stall sale instead for the items that haven't sold Bubbles?

I must say, there are so many subdivisions where people could actually place their posts, but they seem to think that unless they put it on the General Discussion section, it won't get read.

Yes but there are lots of members on here.
People are not interested? Ok well at least in trying to sell at cheap prices and in (Turkish lira not sterling)

Can't do markets with a baby and 1 child at school untill midday.
And I need a car.
So this is my only option as my husband is working and has our car.

Why do I need to explain myself anyway as I don't think I'm doing anything wrong
And doing the same as other people.

How can I increase my chances of selling?? Give it away for free?
Example.. Fond of my clothes are 5tl each (is that expensive) lol

This is what the sale page is for. If your very frustrated by this then don't read my sales or tell somebody
Who might care.
End of the day I'm doing this for myself and its not business.
I don't have a penny in my pocket to make business anyway lol

I think it is great that you are trying.
Many Brits are good at just complaining and waiting for a hand out. Not that I would suggest any are Kibkom members.
I understand from your posts, you are a young mum, and you are trying your best for your family.
Well done you and good luck in all you do!

KibKom is here to help people sell their goods and also to acquire goods, hence the choice of menu' No one has to read all the threads, and personally I look at the New VPosts and if someone has brought something back to the top for my attention, it oculd be that I notice it for the first time. Or maybe I have been thinkiing about it. I put charity events back up to the top in case people did not really read them first time around.

I do not find it irritating, and I either read them or don't bother.

I am sorry if it irritates anyone, and I will make sure that Soner is aware of the thinking of you all incase he might want to make any changes, . In a way it is no different saying bttt than a market trader carrying something on their stall week after week. People who go to that stall say 'wow they have had that there for weeks' but then suddenly along comes someone who decides it is exactly what they want. They say there is a buyer for everything somewhere. In a way KibKom is your market stall at home.

And to Bubbles, yes she is doing the best she can and is to be admire,d and no one has to buy anything she is selling. I often think I would like a market stall but I know there is no way could have do it with family responsibilities. Now I cannot getup in time, or leave my husband on his own for that length of time, so.... we all have different needs and different lifestyles.

Just commenting really: I am going to posting a lot of my unwanted/unneeded items soon. I have done a stall and its ok but you have your days. I have an active 2 y.o. boy who was with me a few moments in my selling while I got my stall ready. I had my husband to help unload the car and I said ok take the kid and GO....however, they stuck around a little bit and its hard to mind your customers and your toddler at the same time when you are REALLY trying to "get rid of this stuff and get some money"!!!! Bubbles, you have 2.... IF your man could take the kids and leave you alone like you don't exist while you are working, then great. The thing with markets also is that you have your good days and your bad days; good am, bad pm; you sell, sell a lot, and then some where it was a little harder and didn't sell a darnish thing- even if your stuff is good quality and in good shape and CHEAP (!!!). Amazing how people will still try and reduce something ( I sold my clothes for 5TL.... some lady asked for 1TL...really?!!??!!?-,mind you it was from the states and plus size...PLUS SIZE!!! how difficult and more expensive is it to get good plus size clothes??? DIFFICULT,'cuz I am tall and curvy, hence the reason I do NOT shop here and EXPENSIVE. anyways=NO Sale)soo kibkom is like the stay at home market stall (PLUS its FREE!!! LOVE IT!) the most expensive stall is 15tl (told via soyz).... (really?!) and the cheapest is 5tl (lemar alsancak) and others are free (?). I understand people need/ want money...but everything needs to be reasonable... its like you have to do a comparison list: if you go here, its this; and if you go there, its that; and if you get it by me, its tadaaah!
okay sorry I turned into a rant. but I was just saying- keep it up bubbles and all ya sellers!! we are watching!!! ( and please post picture(s) of your goodies; words just are not enough. happy shopping and good luck sellers!!!

Thanks for sharing corona24. The reality of tryng to sell at markets/carboots/ and even shops,l it sometimes far form romantic, and when one takes into account the cost of petrol, plus the stall, one can be out of pockiet. So, I am so glad that people can use KibKom - a bit like a local cheap e bay!!!!

But I also agree that where possible a photograph does wonders. People can see what it is /colour/shape/size etc, etc, which really does help.

Maybe I should start trying to sell my stuff, but I don't have time to sort through it, and him downstairs (bless him) is physically unable to help, so all of us have different challengesto mee.t I must admit I am so grateful that my challenges are no longer under five years of age!
