Bad Manners

I recently saw an item on the 'items wanted' that I was able to supply. I sent a PM to the requester stating that I had the item that may have been what he/she wanted, this was a few days ago and so far I have not had the courtesy of a reply. Maybe the requester has got the item requested from another source but surely a 'no thank you' would not have been too difficult to say.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the days of good manners has now gone.

PS: I have now sold the item to someone else

Have you thought that maybe the person did not get you PM for some technical reason. It has happened to me!

Most PMs I send don't get through also emails.
Don't know why - be quite sure all are not ignoring me. I hope!

If you send a P.M. and it stays in your " Outbox " rather than "sent " it means they have not received it. Some people don`t know what to go with PM`s.

I accept that 'maybe' a PM may not have been received but I did put on the original request post that I had sent one. So again, why did the person not say that it had not been received. When I have tried to sell or find an item I regularly check to see if there are any replies to acknowledge.

Next time maybe try the email link rather than PM. As mentioned sometimes members are not on all the time and PM sits in outbox for quite sometime.

Saying that, I have Emailed and Posted several times and had no reply.

For what it is worth, I know personally if I have tried to advertise something on multiple forums i sometimes have forgot to check back on them all.
