water project and cheaper electricity

I believe that the water pipe will be here within the year -I have heard nothing about cheaper electricity, but am told that this will be coming here as well -does anyone know the timescales on this?

The project to bring water from Turkey will be complete later this year however there is no project as yet to bring electric or telecom. This was the information given by the site manager when we visited the site at Getcikoy recently.

No up to the second news on this yet but I'm sure Kibtek thieves will try to bloke all attempts of bringing electricity to Cyprus from Turkey.

Munchkin that was all the talk when that article was written 18 months ago. However the bosses on site say that there is no talk of electricity supply at present.

Equally sadly, no prospect of fibre optics either. What a shame, what a wasted opportunity
