Directions to Famagusta

I need directions to get to the bronze statue island at Famagusta. I usually drive along the new dual carriageway to get to the island with the bronze statues but parts of this road will be closed when I need to go.

So if any one can direct me from Tigra motors or Girne to the island with the bronze statues please ?

The easiest way to get to the island is as follows:-

Drive down the coast road past Esentepe turn off until you reach the T junction. Turn right over the mountain, when you reach the crossroads with K pet garage on your left, go straight across onto the new road. Carry on down this road untill you meet the main road and turn left. This road will bring you onto a large roundabout in Famagusta, to reach the roundabout with the statues, turn right and keep in the outside lane, drive through the traffice lights and you will soon come to the roundabout you need.
