For some weeks now in Germany we have been bombarded with phone calls telling us we have won one of 3 major prizes, and can they please have our bank account details?

Is this happening in the UK?

I keep getting random calls that just ring once only with
Code.. 0035
Is this south?
My son gets Ukraine or Russia ransom calls too.
Do these take your credit if you answer them?
Which I never have.

Bubbles yes if you answer it can take all your credit the calls come from Bulgaria. I have blocked all the numbers on my phone but they use lots of different numbers . I blame our telephone companies as they sell their data thats why we get unsolicited calls. It makes me very angry.

Not sure maybe it holds over till you put credit on. Most calls seem to come in the early hours I have noticed, my phone is on silent at night so I dont hear it anyway.

Of course it is a scam, I just wondered how universal it is. Probably in our case the same scam merchants, just using different numbers.

The sad thing is that somebody will be taken in by them.
