Does anyone know how much it costs to get a replacement water meter card? Some how ours has gone walk about. Also if the meter is not in my name can I get a new one or does the person whose name is on the bill have to do it? Thanks

Hi, a new card costs 25 lira, im not sure about what you do if the water is not in your name but if you go to the main carpark in kyrenia centre im sure the little hut where you can top up your card will give you the correct info

What is a water meter card ?

Its a card to top up your water, numpty, ideal if you have tenents, it ensures the water bills are getting paid,.if they dont top their card up, they get no water,:)

Be careful though with exiting tenants it is cheaper for them to buy in water by tanker as the Belediye charge an amount for cleaning, lights etc.
Always check there are no outstanding charges before refunding their deposit.
