There is a shop on the main road, on the corner where you turn for Tanners restaurant in Karakum, I think it was 10 lira, he fixed it for us. The shop has gas heaters and other things outside, looks a bit like a junk shop.

I think carboot meant tektan which is when you past ordu pazar or 1001 store in girne going up the hill turn right, then right at the end of the road and its on your right hand side opposite a car park.
