There is also the Tatlisu beledyia restaurant and beach a great place for a day visit. A short drive is the excellent Kaplica fish restaurant.
A new restaurant has opened on the old coast road just past the new mosque on the outskirts of Tatlisu. It says you are on a private road but keep going and the restaurant which used to be an old carab store is on the headland. Sinyia restaurant does an excellent kleftico but you have to book and need at least a dozen people.

Over the last 2 or three years the quality of the restaurants has become so good that you really have to work hard or be unlucky to find a bad one. Places like the Beledeysi (Stilts we call it as it is over the water) is fairly basic kebab cooking, but we still go there quite often for a light lunch, brandy and a cigar as the sun sets.
Bar-B is (in our opinion) at Kuchuk Erenkoy (where we go for Xmas lunch) the best on the East side.
Towards Girne (Kyrenia and worth a few miles drive) you are spoilt for choice with Errols and Effendi's, Kibet Steak House, Moneypeny's et al. And over on the East you have Bogas harbour plus Ki-yi restaurant, and probably the best fish and chips on the Island in a little known place next to the harbour...Is Yo-suchi in Nicosia to your taste ?
So, within 25 miles in each direction you have it all !

forgot to say the beach at Kaplica is the best beach in the area, it is not stony but golden sand
The beaches at Alagadi are very good and have restaurants but they are a 20 minute drive from Tatlisu.
