What is that bird singing?

Ever wonder what bird you are listening to these mornings?
Well wonder no longer.... I've put together a CD of 399 digital bird song samples including Cyprus endemics.. As the CD plays it displays the English, Variant English and Binomial names of each track for identification. CD comes with sleeve notes containing a list of all 399 bird songs so you can jump to the one you want if you think you know but want confirmation.
They can be purchased today and every Saturday from our market stall selling jams, marmalades and chutneys at Lemar Catalkoy...
CD costs 25tl.

how many bird species do you think can be found in Cyprus? I'll give you a clue... it's not as many as 399.

I'm glad to let you have one... I'm now working on one that will display the Turkish names as well as English and binomial names.

Paypal details sent via PM. When you've paid I will send you a disk no problem... I think I sent you a disk before can't remember what it was maybe knitting patterns? Or was it some TV program you were desperate to see?

I think you sent me 'Call the Midwife' the last episodes, as my BBC iplayer did not work. Funny, now it is on BBC entertainment and I could see it again, but it would have been horrible to have waited so long!!!
I was just going to do the payment, but you didn't add the postage. Also shall I send Lira or Sterling or Euros???

The latest incarnation of this CD now has 399 photos.
One embedded in each track so that when played through a TV/Computer etc. not only do you hear the bird song you see a picture of the bird too....
The cost is now 25TL which includes a 10tl donation to Kuskor (The North Cyprus Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature).
