who's been eating my porridge?.

I cannot find my usual Scotts porridge oats anywhere. I just like the original ones with nothing fancy added. If anyone sees them around in any store could you please let me know. I had given up on my crumpets when they disappeared and changed to porridge. Isn't it frustrating when this happens.

I bought some at Ileli about 2 weeks ago - they had a lot. They were on a special and displayed at the end of a row away from the other cereals. I also saw them at the original Tempo store in Girne (not the supermarket - the little store) about 3 weeks ago.

UPDATE - Sorry, I was in Ileli today and no sign of porridge.

Can't tell you about Scotts, but I do know that several of the cereals my husband and Iusea lot (porridge oats and the muesli that comes in different colour packagings, ) disappears from the shelves and we have to wait until another boat comes in with a ship load. This seems to apply toa lot of things, so maybe Ilelli has now sold out and waiting for the next load.

So I reckon no one has eaten it - and no one has been cooking it either, but all a case of 'when the boat comes in.;

Have only been able to find Shredded Wheat twice in 2 years and that was in Tempo. Haven't seen it for months now and whilst we're at it, who's bought out the supply of All Bran??

Probably that conniving, thieving little blonde bimbo, Goldie something or other, acts like butter would not melt in her mouth but I have her measure.

I am happy to use the turkish oats/yulaf produced by ETE, but even those can be as elusive as the English cereals. I now buy all there are on the shelf, same with my JACOBS filter coffee. I get strange looks at the check out!!! And, now don't blame me on the lack of things on the supermarket shelfs in Girne, I shop in Famagusta!!!
