Re: Tapes to discs
If you are talking about transfer from a music cassette to a CD:
Quite an easy way to do it is using a program called 'No23 Recorder' which you can download free through the Internet (just google for it). After you installed it on your computer connect (by cable) the Cassette Player with the Computer 'Line In' and transfer/record by using the No 23 Recorder Program (you may do some short tests first), using the Mp3 option of the program. Once finally transferred to your computer you can burn it on CD with any or most burning programs.
Do not expect super audio quality. You may have slightly better results with other programs (like 'Audacity') but to do it like this is an easy way.
If you have any further question please ask for my telephone number by sending me an email.

Re: Tapes to discs
Hi Diehard, if you're talking video cassette to DVD, I have a brand new, still in the box "EnVivo" HD DVD maker. I brought it from UK last December, intending to transfer all my videos and handycam tapes. Unfortunately my VCR had shook a 7, no doubt through lack of use. My Sony handicam followed it and they, along with all the tapes went into the skip. If you want it you can have it, no charge.
I'll be at the Alsancak Lemar boot sale on Sunday from about 9-00am. I'm in the Zafira which I park by the stall.

DieHard,
if there is any problem: In case it is only 1 or 2 cassettes I also can transfer it for you. I live in Lapta.

Re: Tapes to discs
Or you could bypass the CD and convert the cassette straight to mp3:
