Every night at 7 min past midnight programme stops or freezing so 2nd part of 37 days stopped and dancing on ice I looked at on backup, just about to announce winners stopped. Is this a general thing.

I get the same at 7 minutes past midnight, just lose ntv for a minute or two then it comes back. As for the Dancing on Ice freezing tonight, it appears to have been a problem with ITV channels as BBC was still ok. So we missed who won D on I as well, anyone know the result?

I've had the same problem, just after midnight. Missed end on Dancing on Ice too. Mr Selfridge was all stop/start and pixelate all way through. Had been great all afternoon and early evening.

I have the same problem most nights just after midnight - sometimes for as long as 10 minutes and sometimes repeated a bit later. HOWEVER, although I use Multimax, I am not on NTV. Rather the security codes for my Dreambox are delivered via internet whereas the signal comes via a satellite dish - it is the security codes that are interrupted.

It may be Multimax as I think the timing probably coincides with their changing everybody's actual transfer rate (the change process itself or the sudden increase in traffic) or it may be a general slowdown on the internet caused by something outside Multimax's control. But I would be happy to believe whatever Multimax think is the cause as I trust them completely.

For those of you using Multimax, at 12 midnight(not exactly to the moment) we switch everyone connection to 50mbit unlimited package.

This is supposed to cause upto 2 seconds of connection break, however, due to the fact that there are thousands of customers disconnected at the same time, we have discovered that it takes upto 10 minutes for some customers to find an open slot for authorization and getting connection back up.

We have a lot of ideas to fix this problem(some of them are sure fixes but less than ideal in other aspects, too technical to explain it all here), the issue is, we can only try one thing at a time and wait until midnight to see whether it is working or not. So far we have not achieved the results we are looking for.

Your explanation of problems seem to be a result of this Multimax problem, and not NTV.

We apologize for the effects of this problem, we hopefully will be able to get this sorted in next few days.

Yes I do realise that and sometimes far more intelligent than some humans!!!

I personally agree with Owl Lady, - Ice and Max are two very intelligent dogs, plus I don't know what you lot are all doing up at midnight. You should be all tucked up in bed fast asleep, maybe that's where the NTV people are, hence the problem.

If they are just dogs, can somebody please explain it to them...

Especially Max needs to be told that he should stop it with girls that are around. It's already bad that I have to compete with a dog over a girl, its even more disappointing that I keep losing all the time...

Anyway, I better fix some more customer problems...
