I seem to remember quite a long time ago, it might have been in the days of C44, but some people where given a really hard time because they lived in the TRNC, not by Indians but by Greek Cyps in the H.C offices. Can anyone else remember that case?

Hi we were refused Indian visa on Greek side because we lived in TRNC this was more than 2 years ago so maybe the staff have changed since then.
We got our visas in Ankara the guy there was extremely helpful although of course it was a lot of hassle all round. We definitely will not bother to go to India again there are nicer places to go anyway.

Yes it was us. Best of luck going over there for an Indian Visa, it is NOT easy. Best not to mention anything about the TRNC if you go there.

When we got ours, we put the address on the form as Cyprus. no mention of north or south.
Got the visa within the week.

it was not a problem as we used our Kimlik cards. Now I. See your point if you only have Uk passports.
