There is a fairly big store in Pallouriotissa http://www.sportsdirect.com/nicosiacity1cy-store-0599

When you exit Metehan, with the race course in front of you, turn left. Follow the road through a roundabout and several speed bumps to traffic lights, turn left. Pass a petrol station on your LHS and join a two lane one way stretch, at the roundabout take 3rd exit. Keep in left hand lane and continue through several sets of lights following the curve of the city walls anti clockwise - you will pass JVC sign on RHS, EKO garage on LHS and a set of lights which has, on RHS, a building with Dunlop sign, you can turn here - see Karmel's directions below otherwise get into right hand lane and turn next right immediately before an Esso garage. Go down to the bottom of this road and turn right where the road curves to left (there is a traffic island), turn left at next set of lights. Slightly up on RHS you will see a supermarket - best in Nicosia (IMO), pass it and through another set of lights and you will see Lidl on LHS, park here and Sports Direct is opposite.

come_on_aylin.

Your directions to this supermarket are very good until you turn right at the tyre garage set of light.

On turning right go to the bottom of the road to the lights and turn LEFT, 50mtr more lights turn right, you will pass the supermarket on the right, and then carry on with your directions to sports direct.

The name of the supermarket is Anthaneides but the name out side is in Greek, we have used this market since the border opened. There is parking on both sides of the road.

Hi Karmels,

I didn't mean turn right at lights but turn right at next junction immediately before the Esso garage. Your way is probably better - I just learned the route from the way the bus goes...

Directions from Metehan

We usually go to Ikea after visiting Anthaneides/Lidl - to get there you go back to the set of lights near Anthaneides( pass Anthaneides on your LHS). Turn left at the lights and go straight for 5 sets of lights until you see a blue sign showing dotted lines for left/right and straight ahead (Debenhams is on RHS). Turn left here (slip road next to petrol station), towards Larnaca/Limissol/B1/A1 . Follow this road (dual carriageway) until you join the A1 and see Ikea on LHS. You will pass M & S on RHS but you need to turn off beforehand to access it and I can't remember which turning it is.
